It seems the season is upon us. While I am not one to fall for the preempted “False Spring,” I do believe nature is on her own course this year! Cherries are in bloom, the Garden is blanketed in Andromeda, iris blades are forging higher each day, and I am already mowing turfs. Save some last ditch effort of winter to blow a chill down our back, the Garden has decided for herself that I have much work to do!

When will the iris actually be in bloom? I saw them once when I came to the garden and they are so unbelievably beautiful, I want to bring my mother to see them this year.

    thank you, Jan
